I go to protests.  Mostly alone.  I watch but I also talk to people.  I talk to protesters, cops, counter protesters, passers-by and the homeless who live in the street.  I'm not a participant nor an activist, I observe and report.  I think this is important.  The broader community needs to understand what is really happening in the street from an objective point of view.  And like never before, the general public is being fed with lies and deception of even basic truths.

There's a lot happening on the streets of Denver and across America and most of it just doesn't make it to the nightly news.  And while I believe that there is lots of high quality main stream news, I don't believe they get everything right and at this time in our world, this is even more true.  It is especially true of news coverage of protests. 

My agenda is to share what's happening in the community.  I'm unfiltered and honest about what I see.  And I am happy to acknowledge that I won't always see all of what's happening.
