The Supreme Court decision to send the decision on a women's right to have an abortion back the states for state legislatures brought a mini wave of protests over the past few months. On Oct 8, Denver had a rally at Civic Center Park. The crowd size was largest we've seen for any protest in 2022. The crowd was older, less radical than we have seen in the past as people came to protest complained about having to do this, yet again.
Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser spoke to the crowd of several hundred and said, "We the people will have the final word on reproductive rights. Not the Supreme Court." Weiser then went on to encourage people to vote for pro-choice candidates.
