2020 has been a year for the ages. The pandemic. The George Floyd inspired social justice movement that swept the country. The election. The J6 Capitol riots. We've focused largely on the local Denver elements of the social justice movement as it happened on the street. That will continue in 2021. I don't expect there to be much activity until summer but if it happens we'll be there reporting on it.
In the meantime, as one travels through Denver, you can see signs of hope and positivity. Some is inspired by the pandemic. Some by the social justice movement. Some by both. And while there is not an overwhelming display of this hope, it's starting to appear and maybe, just maybe, it can take hold as we move deeper into 2021.
